Thaisa "Thai" is a caring psychologist with experience in supporting children and pre-adolescents facing a wide array of conditions: emotional and psychological circumstances or situations that children and pre-adolescents might be dealing with, such as medical illnesses, developmental challenges, emotional difficulties, or behavioral issues.
Thai completed her studies in 2014 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo - Brazil with academic exchange experience at the University of Porto - Portugal.
She prioritises the creation of a strong client/therapist alliance, building and safeguarding a non-judgmental environment and fostering the client’s sense of empowerment and autonomy.
Thai’s approach also embraces working with parents/caregivers, school staff, as well as allied health professionals involved in the child’s care and development (when appropriate).
